Block exemption legislation means that independent repairers CAN now carry normal service maintenance and repairs during a vehicles warranty period without invalidating the warranty conditions, providing original,quality parts are fitted.
The good news is that all Fram filters comply with the defination of original spare parts or of matching quality set out in BER 1400/2002 (Art. 1 T),u) As the majority of Fram filters sales are with VMs, all manufacturing sites across our group are certified to the quality standards ISO 9000 and ISO TS16949 (the latter being the quality standard used by Vehicle Assemblers)

Valeo 4 piece DMF replacement kits
|
|
|
Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF) technology has resulted in a significant increase in clutch replacement costs.
Valeo have an alternative. A four piece kit which is much cheaper than a DMF replacement kit.
The Valeo 4 piece kit consists of a traditional rigid flywheel, a cover assembly, a high performance drive plate and release bearing. The vibration control function, originally performed by the Dual Mass Flywheel, is transferred to the high performance "long travel damper" drive plate.
The innovative solution has the same methodology as the original product, high reliabilty and a satisfying level of comfort for vehicles that already have a certain mileage. It is due to these strong features that many European taxi drivers now prefer this solution.
An additional bonus is that this solution allows for an even greater cost saving for the second clutch replacement. The flywheel, now being rigid, will not need to be changed again.
